Inaction of police over racist song

Strathclyde Police's inaction over the racist song referring to the Irish Famine is a disgrace. Also, what is the point of the SPL bringing in new laws if they refuse to use them? Lex Gold has stated that the song is racist so why has there been no investigation launched?
